initial thoughts… (this is a detail BTW…) wet paint… gotta be careful when the paint gets too wet otherwise you can suddenly have a mess… Yes, thinking this piece may take a long time to resolve… yes, put it to one side and come back to it when the paint is dry… As for the irrelevant background stuff (which adds nothing) it is in the process of being painted out… It may have been okay as a photo or a movie still but it needs to work as a painting… which is another kettle of fish entirely…. It would look nice on the ceiling of the Sistine chapel… lol… a goddess in the sky looking down upon foolish mortals… anyway, it’s an allegory of sorts
